Join us as SHS board member, Liz Fuller, presents “Prohibition North Carolina-style”.
As both a leader in the prohibition movement and a leader in the manufacture of moonshine, North Carolina has had a long and conflicted relationship with alcohol. As we near the 100th anniversary of the United States’ Noble Experiment of Prohibition, Liz will discuss the little known history of making, smuggling and consuming liquor in Brunswick County.
