SHS 2nd Tuesday Talk

Join us for the SHS 2nd Tuesday Talk to hear about Southport’s rich history and fascinating characters every second Tuesday of the month.

The speaker in January will be John Keiffer, who is with the Up Your Arts organization. Up Your Arts is leading a community effort to restore the original Brunswick County Courthouse building on East Moore Street. Constructed in the 1850s, the building later served as Southport City Hall. Keiffer will outline the process that Up Your Arts is following to transform the building into a state-of-the-art performing arts center. The program will begin at 10:30 am at the Indian Trail Meeting Hall at 113 West Moore Street. All are invited to attend
