Armchair History Virtual Tour – Life in the Garrison

Tour the Exhibit “Life in the Garrison” with Debbie Mollycheck. Debbie will tell the story of her grandparents, Keeper Franto Mollycheck II, his wife, Lilla Mollycheck and their 
three children who lived in the Garrison House for 14 years. Keeper Mollycheck maintained the lights along the Lower Cape Fear between 1937 and 1951 and was responsible for the Bald Head Lighthouse. Learn about family life in Southport during World War II and the 1940s.
