Bob Surridge will present “Mayor Leonard T. Yaskell” The past comes to life with historic character portrayals. Yaskell was a Yankee who relocated to Southport in the early part of the 20^th century. As Postmaster, he grew to know and like the people of his new home. He became so popular that he even served a term as Mayor. Come meet the Mayor and learn about his life before and after moving to Southport.  Tuesday, November 3, 1 pm.
