July 1 – Fort Johnston Garrison
Kathy Joyner Maland lived in the Garrison as a teenager while her father served as the commander of Sunny Point Military Terminal. We’ll also ask Kathy to share some stories about being Southport’s first Miss 4th of July in 1967.
