You may pick up your tickets which include a map of the tour, Dec. 3rd through Dec. 14th at the Ft. Johnston Visitor Center open M-S 10am – 4 pm

Bricks will be placed at Fort Johnston by Memorial Day 2025. Please join us at our May General Membership meeting to celebrate the bricks in the novel is still considered classic Christmas fare. Recipes will be included with this talk. Some tasty mincemeat pies and warm Wassel to be provided.

Food historian Desiree Bridge will speak about the way Charles Dickens influenced Christmas menus as we know them today through his popular novel, A Christmas Carol. His novel helped make Christmas seem more family friendly, and the food discussed in the novel is still considered classic Christmas fare. Recipes will be included with this talk. Some tasty mincemeat pies and warm Wassel to be provided.
